Guelph real estate market snapshot
Guelph is served by the OnePoint Association of REALTORS®, which formed in 2024 when the Guelph & District Association of REALTORS® merged with other boards. As of October 2026, CREA’s statistics page for the Guelph & District area says market statistics from December 2024 onward are temporarily on hold while data from OnePoint’s move to a new MLS® system is checked.
Because we only publish numbers from official sources, we are not listing Guelph prices or sales here until the board releases them. Instead, ask us and we will pull current Guelph sales for your neighbourhood directly from the MLS® System.
Guelph neighbourhoods
The City of Guelph works with local neighbourhood groups across the city. Here are a few Guelph real estate areas buyers often ask about:
Downtown Guelph
Limestone buildings and the Basilica of Our Lady sit on the hill. In addition, condos and older homes are within walking distance of shops, the River Run Centre and Guelph Central Station.
Exhibition Park
Older brick homes and larger lots around the park just north-west of downtown, with a strong community feel.
Old University
Mature streets of mid-century homes beside the University of Guelph and the Arboretum.
The Ward
One of the city’s oldest areas lies east of downtown. Here, worker cottages, renovated homes and new infill mix near the Speed River.
Kortright Hills
A south-west area of detached homes on quiet crescents, backing onto the Hanlon Creek and Preservation Park trails.
Westminster Woods
Similarly, a south-end family community with newer detached homes and townhouses.
